The 2nd Annual Crowd Investing Innovation Forum will span over two days, beginning on Thursday, August 08, 2013 to Friday, August 09, 2013. The event will be held at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. Entrepreneurs, investors and technology leaders alike will find the conference extremely beneficial as they look to grow their startup through equity crowdfunding and stimulate job creation. It has been confirmed that the forum will discuss crucial topics, encourage opinions and challenge traditional methods.

The Crowdfunding Professional Association (“CfPA”) is a reputable nonprofit trade organization which was established shortly after the JOBS Act was signed by President Obama in April 2012. It is committed to effectively representing the crowdfunding industry, while communicating with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA.”) While the JOBS Act is currently being finalized by the SEC, helpful tools have been provided by the CfPA such relevant education and a professional network of individuals which can benefit from one another.

An array of speakers and panelists will be present, sharing their views on the JOBS Act, crowdfunding, industry sustainability and more. Founder & CEO of StartupValley, Daryl H. Bryant will be a panel member on day two of the forum, discussing Regulation D Online Offerings. The panel moderator is none other than Sara Hanks of CrowdCheck. Additional panelists include:

  • Matt Dellorso, Founder & CEO of Fundroom
  • Kiran Lingam, General Counsel of SeedInvest
  • Maurice Lopes, Founder of EarlyShares
  • Jason Graf, Founder & CEO of Crowdit

The CfPA hopes to inspire all conference attendees to move forward with their innovative ideas and strategize methods to move forward. Those who recognize the potential in equity crowdfunding are likely to make a significant impact for themselves and others. In the near future, startups will be given the ability to acquire necessary funds unlike ever before, through equity crowdfunding. We look forward to meeting all present attendees and are grateful to be a part of the Regulation D Panel.
