Vote_My_SessionSXSW 2014 will be held on March 7-16, 2014 in Austin, TX. The powerful conference is known for showcasing up-and-coming musicians, underground movies and new tech startup businesses. Since 2007, SXSW has considered proposals as part of their program for SXSW Interactive. The PanelPicker was originally designed by Lindsey Simon, but has been redesigned by SXSW employees. The interface has been streamlined, while offering rich media content such as videos, informative presentations and documents.Do you want to take your startup to the next level? StartupValley puts the power in the hands of entrepreneurs by leveraging the crowd to raise funds. Thanks to the JOBS Act, startups are able to stimulate job growth, expedite the process of launching their business and build a team of passionate individuals.

For organizations that specialize in the technology sector, it is important to network with fellow entrepreneurs to brainstorm advancement or bringing an idea to a new level. Large corporations are closely watching the patterns of new businesses for their modern day outlook and driven nature. In today’s startup-driven world, these well-established businesses are looking to these innovative companies for inspiration and collaborative opportunities.

"Our experience has proved that the PanelPicker interface is an invaluable way to connect with the thousands of professionals and informed consumers that make up the worldwide SXSW community. Not only does it help generate fresh ideas, it gives our participants an outlet to share with us what is most exciting, timely and relevant to them." – Hugh Forrest, SXSW Interactive Festival director

The “Startups: Fueling Big Business” panel will highlight the compelling relationship which startups, equity crowdfunding and big business share. This panel is made up of well respected and notable industry leaders, which include:

  • Daryl H. Bryant – Founder and CEO of StartupValley)
  • Guy Story – CTO of Audible.com)
  • Joseph Jaffe – Co-Founder and CEO of Evol8tion.com)

Each of these panelists specializes in various industries, offering dynamic viewpoints and areas of expertise. The link between equity crowdfunding, big business and startup marketing is more present than ever as the “Startups: Fueling Big Business” panel aims to effectively answer the following questions:

  • How do I determine which big business is right for me to align with?
  • Why would these big businesses want to get involved in equity crowdfunding?
  • How does a startup benefit from a big business rather than appealing to the masses?
  • If I don’t want to get acquired, can I still utilize big business? Why should I be knowledgeable about equity crowdfunding and what it has to offer?
  • How can I best be successful with an equity crowdfunding campaign and a big business?

We hope to educate others about the power of crowdfunding, emphasizing how entrepreneurs and non-accredited investors can benefit. Please vote for “Startups: Fueling Big Business” for a new perspective on new businesses and their potential for rapid growth. Voting ends on September 6, 2013 at 11:59PM CST!
