We are committed to ensuring that the roommate and rental selection process is as convenient, hassle-free, and enjoyable as possible.

With our prototype, you can make meaningful connections with potential roommates based on shared values, common interests, and compatible lifestyles, and explore properties based on your desired location, property type, unit features, bedroom count, and much more.

Living with the right roommate in the right property can be extremely rewarding. Unfortunately, many people still consider the process of finding the perfect match to be extremely stressful and time-consuming.

As a superior alternative to wading through irrelevant forums and craigslist posts of sketchy random roommates and room availabilities, RM will help people quickly find more affordable and fulfilling living situations by providing the tools necessary to easily find renters with compatible lifestyles and the platform required to smoothly decide on a mutually preferred rental.

No website exists in the roommate and rental marketplace that possesses the pioneering qualities of RM. We are straying from the herd, and believe we are already on the correct track to winning the hearts and minds of the rental consumer.

Our plan is to transform the roommate and rental industry into a trusted network of members who look for roommates and verified available properties based on data-driven algorithms that guarantee satisfied customers and optimal rental choices.

Future features will include the leveraging of each user's social networks, a custom expandable chat messenger, and much much more. The key to our success will be an emphasis on product differentiation and permanent innovation, both from a technological and business perspective.

The prototype concept is already very unique and impressive. Now, we hope to extensively build on it to transform the product into a real heavyweight success.

Question though: What is your monetization strategy, and target market size? - Jason MrazMonetization Strategy -- RM provides a “freemium” model for roommate seekers, so that renters will get the service for free. We’ve made this decision to move beyond a subscription-based paywall to add more value to the product. Likewise, we are avoiding any and all potential revenue sources that might negatively affect the user experience. RM will obtain a very small fraction of its total revenue by offering advertising by such as companies that provide services for moving, apartment furniture, home design, storage space, rent insurance, credit score checks, credit repair consultation, and housing expense management. RM will generate the majority of its revenue from real estate listings. We will offer registered property agents the opportunity to choose among four distinct priced monthly advertising plans (basic, plus, premium, and elite) that specifically cater to each of their particular needs. Since agents often have special preferences in terms of the number of listings they wish to make active (visible) to renters, our four advertising packages will be designed to encompass varying amounts of available listing slots - such that the monthly cost increases with listing slot availability. Furthermore, since agents have unique interests to promote their listings, each of our monthly plans will include the option to obtain exclusive benefits at additional fees. Our exclusive benefits will consist of the following: 1) "Additional photo slots" that extend beyond the standard 8 “free” slots, 2) "Featured ads" that improve the exposure of listings to grab the renter's attention, and 3) "Search for renters" to allow agents to find and reach out to prospective renters with profiles that most closely match their desired type of tenant (e.g., married professionals in their mid-30s looking for a specific apartment size, location, move-in date, etc.). Our monetization scheme will be the best of both worlds for RM: we will continuously receive larger pools of rental listings from agents while simultaneously receiving revenue from them. RM will provide a simple and fast way for landlords and property managers to obtain the best possible tenants to help fill their vacancies.     We currently have access to over 50,000 available rental properties across the United States. With the future addition of our property upload feature, that number will only increase, and we hope to get it up to 500,000 available rental properties in the next few years.
